The Integrative Center for Alternative Development (ICAD) Foundation, the founder of Fountain International School, took center stage as it hosted the annual Beef Sharing last Sunday, October 5. The Foundation joined forces with the local government units of both San Juan City and Mandaluyong City with the respective Mayors Guia Gomez and Benhur Abalos in attendance. Some FIS teachers and students helped in the distribution of beef to the communities in San Juan City and nearby cities. This sharing is in line with Eid al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice. It is the time when Muslims commemorate Abraham’s obedience to God. It is usually celebrated by sharing beef with others.
